Boletus edulis is a fungus com-monly known as penny bun. Penny bun is an edible mushroom and has high ratings in the kitchens of many countries. It is usually prepared in soups, pastas and risottos. It's almost totally lack-ing in lipids and carbohydrates and it is rich in proteins, vitam-ins, minerals and dietary fiber. It keeps the flavor even after dry-ing; therefore it is often used for nutrition even in this form.
